Bringing Yiddish theatre to new heights

Kadimah Jewish Cultural Centre

web design | CMS | SEO

Kadimah Yiddish Theatre’s award-winning play Yentl took the stage at the Sydney Opera House, in collaboration with Monstrous Theatre, Neil Gooding Productions, and Shalom. Acclaimed as a bilingual modern masterpiece, Yentl celebrates Yiddish culture and contributes to the revival of its endangered language through a fresh, contemporary adaptation of Isaac Bashevis Singer’s iconic short story.

To support the production, I designed a dedicated landing page that acted as the play’s central online hub. This user-friendly platform provided audiences easy access to media coverage, reviews, event details, and news updates, while seamlessly directing visitors to the Sydney Opera House’s ticketing website.

Beyond enhancing audience engagement, the landing page serves as a permanent digital archive of the production. Its intuitive, culturally sensitive design offers a valuable template for future cultural productions and marketing initiatives, reinforcing the role of digital platforms in preserving and promoting the performing arts.
