Celebrating 50 years of friendship and heritage

Australian Embassy in Mexico

Australia and Mexico established diplomatic relations in 1966. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this partnership, the Australian Embassy in Mexico organised a series of events highlighting their strong ties across various sectors, including education, research, arts & culture, human rights, trade, and international cooperation.

As part of this celebration, I designed a commemorative logo honouring the two nations’ long-standing friendship while showcasing their rich Indigenous heritage. The design visually represented both countries’ deep cultural connections and shared values.

The logo played a crucial role in the anniversary's success. It effectively communicated the importance of the Australia-Mexico relationship to a wide audience while also emphasising how their Indigenous heritage has fostered cultural awareness and mutual respect.
