Kadimah Yiddish Theatre presented its award-winning Yentl at the Sydney Opera House, collaborating with co-producers Monstrous Theatre and Neil Gooding Productions, in association with Shalom. Acclaimed as a bilingual modern masterpiece, Yentl invites audiences to celebrate Yiddish culture and revive its endangered language through a fresh, contemporary adaptation of Nobel Prize laureate Isaac Bashevis Singer's iconic short story.
